Arsenal are allegedly planning a move for Inter Milan right-back Achraf Hakimi as Hector Bellerin replacement.

Hector Bellerin has become undesirable under Mikel Arteta recently, and the 26-year-old – connected with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain – is expected to leave toward the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

The Spain international’s departure would leave Cedric Soares and Calum Chambers as Arteta’s two perceived right-backs, but the Arsenal boss has probably reserved the situation as one that requirements improving in the impending transfer window.

As per Calciomercato, Arsenal will fork out Inter’s £43m asking price for ex-Real Madrid man Hakimi, but the Premier League would unavoidably face stiff competition for his signature.

Arsenal’s London rivals Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in Hakimi, and the report adds that the Gunners are also thinking about Maurizio Sarri as a replacement in the dugout for Mikel Arteta, so the 62-year-old’s arrival could help encourage a deal for the right-back.

Achraf Hakimi remains contracted to Antonio Conte’s side until 2025, and he has scored six goals and five assists from 27 Serie A appearances this season.
