Arsenal told to sign Brighton star
Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit has sent a message to the Gunners to make a move for Brighton star Evan Ferguson.
Petit believes he would be a good replacement for Arsenal’s current striker Gabriel Jesus, who he claims lacks coolness in front of goal.
The Frenchman also opined that the signing of someone like Ferguson could perhaps help the Brazilian get better at Arsenal.
“Gabriel Jesus always gives his all, but he always lacks the coolness in front of the opposing goal,”
Petit said (via Football.London).
“Maybe a well-known newcomer would somehow give him wings.
“Evan Ferguson would prevail because of his effectiveness and his coolness.”
Recall that Arsenal signs Jesus from Man City in the previous summer transfer window.
He was one of the attack players allowed to leave Man City under Pep Guardiola alongside Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer, both of whom joined Chelsea.
