Arsenal are keen on signing a new player before the summer transfer window closes, having sealed deals for Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber.

A recent report has revealed the Gunners are now keen on signing Mohammed Kudus from Dutch club Ajax.

This was made public by popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who said that the Gunners have made the Ghana forward a top priority, given Nicolas Pepe’s potential exit from the Emirate Stadium this summer.

To be able to seal a deal for Kudus, the Gunners are said to be planning to sell six players to match the €40 million asking price for the forward.

The six players are Cedric Soares, Nuno Tavares, Pepe, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding.

Aside from playing out wide, Kudus can play as an attacking midfielder

Arsenal were previously linked with Moussa Diaby of German club Bayer Leverkusen. But they lost the deal to Aston Villa, who are ready to pay £51.9 million for the winger.

Last season Kudus made 42 appearances, scored 18 goals and created seven assists across all competitions for Ajax.
