Arsenal have reportedly submitted an official offer to sign Chelsea winger Noni Madueke as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the 2025/26 season.

However, the Gunners are still believed to be pursuing Real Madrid forward Rodrygo, suggesting that both players remain in consideration as part of a broader strategy to enhance the squad’s attacking depth.

According to reports, talks between Arsenal and Chelsea have begun regarding Madueke, who could become the latest player to cross the London divide. The England international has shown promise at Stamford Bridge but may be available this summer as Chelsea look to trim their squad under manager Enzo Maresca.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are continuing their ambitious recruitment drive across multiple positions.

Deals worth £55 million and £9 million have been lined up for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi and Brentford’s Christian Nørgaard, respectively. The club is also finalising a £5 million move for Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to provide competition for David Raya.

In defence, the Gunners are working to secure Valencia centre-back Cristhian Mosquera. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Arsenal’s opening bid of €14 million was rejected, but the club is expected to return with an improved offer of around €20–25 million.

Mosquera, who has one year left on his contract and has agreed to personal terms with Arsenal, could still make the switch.
