Arsenal star set to join EPL rivals

With a few days left to the end of the summer transfer window, some clubs are in a hurry to sign new players.

The recent report has revealed Arsenal star Nuno Tavares could leave the club to join their rivals Nottingham Forest.

This was made public by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a tweet via his X account on Tuesday.

According to Romano, Tavares completed his Nottingham Forest medical on Tuesday.

“Nuno Tavares to Nottingham Forest, here we go! Deal agreed with Arsenal on loan until June 2024,” Romano tweeted.

“Understand loan fee will be bit higher than £1m plus £12m buy option.

“Medical tests being completed today, new left back for Forest + Murillo deal done since Friday.”

Tavares battled with limited game chances under Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

A move to Nottingham Forest may be the best for Tavares’ career as he could get more game time.
