Arsenal are reportedly planning to disrupt Chelsea and Nottingham Forest’s transfer pursuit of a highly rated French forward this summer.

Mikel Arteta’s side remain active in the market as they weigh up their striker options, with both Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko expressing interest in joining the Gunners ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have already made significant moves in the market, securing Joao Pedro from Brighton in a £60 million deal. However, further sales are expected at Stamford Bridge to help balance their books amid continued spending.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Nottingham Forest are now said to be battling for the signature of a talented 20-year-old forward who enjoyed an impressive season in Ligue 1. The player scored 11 goals and provided six assists across all competitions last term, attracting interest from several top clubs.

It’s believed that a fee of around £51.5 million would be needed to secure his services. The French star, who has already broken into the Belgian national team, is also being monitored by Liverpool, while European heavyweights Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, and Napoli are reportedly keeping close watch on his situation.

According to The Independent, Lyon—his current club—are bracing themselves for multiple offers as interest intensifies ahead of the new season. With so many clubs involved, the race for his signature is heating up quickly.
