Arsenal legend shares why Gunners need Osimhen

Former Arsenal star, Nigel Winterburn has sent a message to the club on how they can win a title, having lost the opportunity twice in a row to Manchester City.

Winterburn advised manager Mikel Arteta to sign a new striker like Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen before the end of the January transfer window.

According to the former Arsenal player, the North London club need to sign a player like Osimhen or the likes of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko or Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic to win the Premier League title.

It is no longer news that Arsenal are in the race to sign a new striker this month following Gabriel Jesus’ recent injury, with the Brazilian expected to be on the sidelines for a while.

Winterburn while speaking with William Hill Vegas said Osimhen has been heavily linked with Arsenal alongside RB Leipzig striker Sesko and Juventus forward Vlahovic, he noted that if the Gunners can get one striker that can score at least 20 goals then they can contend for the title.

Meanwhile, Arsenal could see a third chance of winning the Premier League slip off their hands as they are currently second in the Premier League table behind leaders Liverpool, who are six points ahead of them with one match at hand.
