Arsenal latest signing names Henry and Van Persie as his 2 favourite legends

Arsenal newest signing this summer transfer window Jurrien Timber has named his two favourite legends from the club.

Recall that Timber was unveiled by Arsenal on Friday after they sealed a deal for him from Dutch side Ajax this summer.

In a statement, after he officially became an Arsenal player, the defender revealed that Thierry Henry and Robin van Persie were his two favourite Arsenal players, adding that he likes watching them play.

There are no doubts the duo of Henry and Van Persie were extraordinary during their football careers at Arsenal.

While they have since retired from professional football, they remain among Arsenal’s celebrated players.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Timber said, “I liked watching Robin van Persie of course and Thierry Henry.

“They were my favourite players.”

Meanwhile, Arsenal are expected to announce the signing of Declan Rice from West Ham soon as they plan to bolster their squad ahead of next season.
