Another midfielder set to leave Chelsea
Conor Gallagher is the next midfielder in line to leave Chelsea this summer transfer window.
The report revealed Gallagher has been linked to Tottenham and West Ham, who are in the race to sign him.
Chelsea consider Gallagher surplus to requirements despite him scoring in their last two pre-season wins over Brighton and Wrexham, respectively, they have put him up for sale.
The Evening Standard reported that West Ham are “ready to push ahead of Tottenham” as they want to sign two midfielders after selling Declan Rice to Arsenal.
Tottenham, on the other hand, could be the more attractive option for the Blues midfielder, as the North London club are in need of homegrown players as well as a potential replacement for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who is linked with a move to Spanish side Atletico Madrid.
While Gallagher is keen on remaining at Stamford Bridge to fight for his place at Chelsea under manager Mauricio Pochettino, he is however, ready to leave as the Blues are unwilling to offer him a new deal.
