2022 World Cup: Former Chelsea star names three countries that could win

Real Madrid winger, Eden Hazard, has named three country who he believes win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

According to Hazard, Brazil, Argentina and France are the major contenders for the title this year.

The former Chelsea stressed that his country Belgium should not be considered one of the tournament frontrunners as Brazil, Argentina and France are better than them.

Belgium are in Group F and will play against Canada, Croatia and Morocco.

While the 2022 World Cup will commence on Sunday, November 20, the hosts Qatar will face Ecuador in the first match of the tournament and England will tackle Iran the following day.

When asked to rate Belgium’s chances at the 2022 World Cup, Hazard told Marca: “It’s a good team, with good players.

“We have more experience than in the World Cup in Russia, but I have not been playing, Lukaku has had injuries.

“We have doubts, although not inside. I think there are better teams than us.”

Asked to mention who he believes is better than Belgium, the 31-year-old replied: “Brazil, sure. France, Argentina.”
