Arsenal in a recent statement have announced the exits of two of their players named Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares.

The reports disclosed that Lokonga and Tavares left the North London side on loan deals this summer transfer window.

While Lokonga, who was at Burnley last season, moved to Spanish side Sevilla ahead of a new season, his deal includes an initial loan with an option to buy permanently for around €12m (£10m).

The Gunners have also included a 25% sell-on clause, with Lokonga into the final two years of his contract.

Meanwhile, Tavares on the other hand joins Italian side Lazio on a loan with an obligation to buy permanently for €5m (£4.3m).

Recall that the Portuguese fullback played last season at Nottingham Forest and looks to leave the North London club on a permanent basis.

Meanwhile Arsenal remain the race for new players this summer transfer window as recent update revealed they are close to finalising a deal with Bologna for Riccardo Calafiori who favours a move to Emirates Stadium over Chelsea.

The Gunners remain keen on strengthening their squad ahead of next season after losing out on the EPL title to Man City two times in a row.
