Transfer News: Arsenal wants to complete deals for Atletico Madrid and Lyon stars

Arsenal have supposedly directed their attention toward completing deals for midfield pair Houssem Aouar and Thomas Partey after tying skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang down to another contract.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at last ended speculation over his future yesterday by signing another three-year deal worth a detailed £250,000 per week, which could ascend to £350,000 every week with bonuses, image rights and add-ons.

Notwithstanding, There are reports that Arsenal are not done yet have with their spending this summer transfer window and that they will presently zero in on reinforcing their midfield positions.

Houssem Aouar and Thomas Partey have been tipped as Arsenal’s top targets for various weeks at this point, but Mikel Arteta is probably going to need to sell players before he can buy any player.

Atletico Madrid are requesting more than £50m for Thomas Partey while Lyon want £40m for Houssem Aouar, who has also been connected with Manchester City.

The Gunners do have various players they are happy to offload so as to raise those funds, however, with a £20m deal to take Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa have already been affirmed by the goalkeeper.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta wants to sell the likes of Matteo Guendouzi, Sead Kolasinac and Lucas Torreira to raise funds, all three players are deemed surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium.
