Ronaldo Vs Messi: Arsenal manager names his favourite player to watch
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has named former Barcelona star and Argentina international Lionel Messi as his favourite player to watch.
Arteta during an interview with Sky Sport also shared how his three boys are obsessed with Messi.
The Gunners manager picked Messi ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo who once played in the English Premier League with Man Utd.
On his favourite footballer to watch, Arteta said: “It’s always been Messi, I cannot deny it.
“For me and my three sons, it’s exactly the same.
“Something we’ve been really lucky to have is the opportunity for that many years to experience the best player of all time.”
Meanwhile, Messi has set a record for himself in the football world as he widely rated as one of the best footballers in history.
The Argentina star who is currently signed to Inter Miami superstar has won every available trophy for club and country including the prestigious world cup.
Messi is also the highest record hold of the Ballon d’Or awards ever, with eight to his name.
However, unlike Ronaldo, Messi didn’t play in other top European leagues like the Premier League and Italian Serie A league.
