Pepe set to exit Arsenal, new club confirmed

Arsenal player Nicolas Pepe is set to leave the club as he could be on his way to a new club soon.

According to the latest update, Pepe, who was linked with moves to Saudi Arabian clubs, is now set to sign a deal with Trabzonspor.

This was made public by popular football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Thursday.

According to Romano, unlike many other top players who have moved to the Saudi Pro League, Pepe is not convinced about the deal.

Romano tweeted: “Nicolas Pépé, not convinced by Saudi approaches—deal not happening, his priority is now to join Trabzonspor. Negotiations to follow in order to reach an agreement, as @footmercato called, he’s completely out of Arsenal project.”

As of now, the Ivorian has one year left on his Arsenal contract but is not expected to feature under manager Mikel Arteta again.
