Arsenal will return to action this weekend in the Premier League when they face their neighbours Tottenham Hotspur in a North London derby.

The Gunners head to the match after defeat Chelsea 5-0 in the last Premier League outing.

Arsenal’s next game against Tottenham Hotspur will likely be the determinant factor on whether they will lift the title this season or lose to Man City again.

Ahead of the crucial match, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has charged his team to set aside their rivalry with Tottenham and focus on winning the derby instead.

Following Man City’s recent win against Brighton they have closed the gap between them and the Gunners.

As of now Arsenal are currently one point ahead of Manchester City who have one game in hand.

While Tottenham Hotspur are not contenders to win the Premier League title this season, they will be highly motivated to stop their rivals from winning their first league title since 2004.

Hopefully, Arsenal will be able to put up a similar impressive game they play against Chelsea when they meet the Hotspurs this weekend.

A look at Arsenal’s fixtures before the season ends show Tottenham are their toughest opponents.

“We have to put the rivalry aside and we have to live the game with passion and the intensity that it demands rather than anything special because the game has everything you need to enjoy it,” Arteta told the media on Friday.
