Lacazette, Arteta react to Arsenal win vs. Leicester City

Arsenal had a great outing in the premier league  during the weekend as they defeated Leicester City with a 3-1 scoreline.

The game was a huge success for the Gunners and they whole team appears to be boosted by their recent win.

The get started with the Foxes taking the lead early at the King Power Stadium following a goal from Youri Tielemans.

However, goals from David Luiz, Alexandre Lacazette’s penalty and Nicolas Pepe ensured that Arsenal secured all three points.

Following the recent win, Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has hailed his side for their performance as he said “I’m really proud of the team, the character we showed.”

Giving reasons for the win, Arteta added that his team looked composed, confident and the energy and the positiveness around the team was really good.

Lacazette also reacted to their victory as he hailed his teammates for the impressive outing.

He said, “We know it’s important to finish well. I think these two wins are going to give us a lot of confidence for the team. It’s good for the spirit, the mood and everything.”

Arsenal have also qualify for the next round in the Uefa Europa League after they defeated Benfica last week.
