Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has named Manchester City as the best football club in the world.

Arteta in a post-match statement, however, refused to comment on Leandro Trossard’s red card in the first half of his side’s Premier League 2-2 draw against Man City on Sunday.

The Spaniard hailed the Citizens after his side’s encounter with Pep Guardiola’s side at the Etihad Stadium.

The game which ended in a draw saw Erling Haaland and John Stones scored for Man City, while Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel Magalhães found the net for the Gunners as Leandro Trossard received a red card.

According to Arteta, Man City are probably the best football club in the world.

When asked to comment on Trossard’s red card, Arteta, however, added that he preferred not to comment.

He stressed that he was already in big trouble trying to solve what happened on the pitch.

The manager added that it was obvious that it’s not necessary to comment on the red card.
