Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has reportedly offered himself to Barcelona after a torrid first season in the Premier League.

Van de Beek was one of the most sorts after player in Europe when Manchester United signed him from Ajax but things have not been easy at Old Trafford.

The Dutch midfielder was unable to make Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first team, sitting on the bench for most part of the season.

However, his fate is about to change as Barcelona are looking for a midfielder after failing to sign former Liverpool player Georginio Wijnaldum on a free transfer.

According to report from Spanish outlet SPORT, Van de Beek will love to join Barcelona on a long-term loan deal.

The report added that the midfielder would have loved to make the move to Barcelona permanent but United might not be willing to let him go.

Barcelona were one of the teams eager to sign Van De Beek during his time at Ajax and he might be having the opportunity of playing with Ronald Koeman if the deal works out.
