What it will cost Man Utd to sack Ole

Manchester coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been in the spotlight for the past few days over calls for his sack.

This comes after Man Utd poor performance vs Liverpool that saw them allow five goals from the Reds during their weekend game in the EPL right at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils recent performance has seen them drop out of the top four completely and are now eight points behind league toppers Chelsea.

A recent report via the Sun UK has revealed that the Red Devils will have to part with the sum of £7.5 million, which represents a severance pay worth a full year’s salary if they must sack Solskjaer.

There are reports that the Man Utd board are considering a replacement for the Norwegian. Still, there are divisions within the senior executives on appointing former Chelsea coach Antonio Conte as there are concerns over the Italian’s methods, especially his issues with the Blues board when he was at Stamford Bridge.

While Solskjaer is expected to be in charge for the next Premier League fixture against Tottenham on Saturday, however, another poor performance and he would be on his way out.
