Transfer News: Manchester United wants to sign Bournemouth midfielder

Manchester United have apparently been informed that it will take an offer of £50m to prise David Brooks from Bournemouth this current summer’s transfer window.

Bournemouth have been compelled to capitalize on some of their central players following their relegation from the Premier League last season, with Nathan Ake and Callum Wilson among those to have just left the Cherries.

There have also been speculations surrounding Joshua King and David Brooks, both of whom have been connected with a move to Old Trafford.

The 23-year-old has been reserved as a potential option to Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish, however there are reports that Bournemouth have requested £50m for David Brooks.

That amount would surpass the fee they paid to sign Donny van de Beek from Ajax prior this summer, while they are also expected to face stiff competition for his signature from Leicester City.

Leicester City are believed to be leading the race as things remain, with Manchester United despite everything seeing Jadon Sancho as their top target this summer.

David Brooks was restricted to just nine appearances last season subsequent to missing an enormous chunk of the season through injury.
