France international Anthony Martial has gotten interest from three clubs following his departure from Manchester United.

Recall that the French star left Old Trafford after his contract expired this summer, bringing his nine-year stint with the Red Devils to an end.

With the summer transfer window now on, Martial’s next destination remains unknown but he could secure a new deal before the start of next season.

This comes as a report via Sky Sports revealed that French Ligue 1 clubs Lyon and Marseille are showing interest in the former Man Utd star, alongside Turkish side Besiktas.

While Martial has struggled with injuries in recent seasons, this hasn’t deterred prospective suitors from making moves for him.

There are also claims that clubs in Mexico, MLS and Saudi Arabia are also keeping a tab on the situation, but Martial would much rather choose to play for a club in Europe.

Martial was a key player of Monaco’s squad for two seasons before he joined Manchester United in 2015 for an initial fee of £36 million and £21.6 million in potential bonus payments, making it the highest fee paid for a teen in football history at the time.

In January 2022, Martial was loaned out to La Liga side Sevilla until the end of the 2021–22 season.
