The latest report has claimed that Man Utd striker and France international Anthony Martial could soon be on his way to Sevilla in the soon-to-commence January transfer window.

This is according to Sky Sports reports which revealed that Martial would love to make a switch to the Spanish club if he gets approval from Man Utd.

Martial is out to get more playing chances after having seen his game time reduce at Old Trafford with the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo and Edison Cavani.

Despite interest for the French striker by Barcelona and Newcastle United, the reports revealed that Martial favours a move to Sevilla instead.

Seville are expected to make a loan move for the Red Devils striker in January with the option to make it permanent later.

So far, the 26-year-old is yet to feature under Man United interim manager, Ralf Rangnick.

This is because of his knee injury but there are indications that Rangnick prefers to start Ronaldo.

Martial’s current contract with Man Utd will expire in 2024. He joined the Res Devils for around £36million in 2015 from Monaco.

Man United values the Frenchman at £30million, having paid Monaco an initial fee of £36million in 2016.
