Solskjaer reportedly linked to Man Utd’s rival

A latest report has claimed that former Manchester United manager and Norway international Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rejected an offer to join another Premier League club this season.

Recall that Solskjaer was fired at Old Trafford in November and has been out of job ever since then.

VG reports the Norwegian has since received offers from across Europe to return to management.

The clubs interested have remained unnamed, but one of the offers was from the English Premier League.

There are claims that the reason Solskjaer turned down the offer is because he does not feel ready to come back and will instead wait until the summer before he takes on a new challenge.

This means there are possibilities he could return to coaching activities next season.

Despite the arrival of Ralf Rangnick as a replacement for the Norwegian at Old Trafford, Man Utd are still struggling and have not been impressive this season.

They are ending this season without a trophy and could also go on to lose out on playing in the UCL next season.
