Pogba unhappy at Man Utd, could leave in January – Agent
France international, Paul Pogba could be on his way out of Manchester United in the January transfer window as his agent, Mino Raiola has claimed he is not happy at Old Trafford.
Pogba’s manager stated that France international is unhappy at Old Trafford and could move to a new club in January.
The latest statement has come as a shock to Man Utd and it fans as it was unexpected especially as they move to Germany to play in the Champions League.
While Pogba’s current contract runs until June 2022, he could however commence with clubs of his choice for a free transfer from next summer.
The 27 year old midfielder has made eight Premier League appearances this season, starting five games. His agent however claims the reason for his unhappiness is because he is no longer able to express himself as he would like and as expected of him.
Riola told Tuttosport : “He has to change teams; he has to change the air.
He has a contract that will expire in a year and a half, but I think the best solution for the parties is to sell him in the next market.
With Riola’s statement, chances that the Red Devils will be able to extend his contract are low.
Pogba who returned to Old Trafford from Juventus for £89m in 2016, has been linked with a return to Italy or Real Madrid ever since.
Perhaps it is time for him to move to Madrid, the main challenge is if Zidane will still want him as the Los Blancos are equally struggling this season.
As at now, none of Juventus or Real Madrid have shown interest in him.
