While France international, Paul Pogba has been linked with transfer moves away from Old Trafford in the January transfer window, the Red Devils coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has, however, insisted that he still has the desire to play at Old Trafford.

This comes after a recent remark by Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola who said the Frenchman was not happy at Old Trafford and would leave the club in January to get game time elsewhere with Juventus being the main destination.

Raiola made the unexpected remark in the wake of Man Utd faceoff with German side RB Leipzig in the Champion League which they lost and saw them drop to the Europa League.

However, ahead of the Manchester derby this weekend, Ole has insisted that Pogba still wants to play for Man Utd.

The Red Devils coach in a statement on Sky Sports stressed that Pogba has remained professional during training unlike some players who have since departed.

“I think I said during the week, of course, that this is a team game. Paul is part of this team, he’s very focused on contributing when he’s here,” Solskjaer said.

Solskjaer revealed that Pogba wants to play and he keeps training as he is focused on performing when he gets the chance.

While Man Utd have been urged to let Pogba leave in January, it however, looks like Solskjaer is determined to keep him at Old Trafford.
