New manager puts up 5 Man Utd stars for sales

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has put up five football stars at the club up for sales ahead of his arrival in the summer.

The report revealed the players are Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Anthony Martial, Alex Telles and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Ajax manager has been given the sum of £100-£150m to sign replacements, according to ESPN, and this sum would not cover the additions he wants to make.

Manchester United are ready to accept offers for five first-team players this summer.

This comes after the Red Devils’ hierarchy told the Dutchman he could top up his transfer budget through player sales.

Ten Hag agreed to a three-year deal at Old Trafford last week and would not be needing the services of the likes of Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Edinson Cavani, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard as the three would see their contracts run out at the end of this season.

There are claims the Dutchman has identified weak spots in the Manchester United squad, and he wants to sign a centre-back, a right-back, at least one central midfielder and a striker to bolster the squad.
