Marcus Rashford hails United summer signing for giving the club something different

Manchester United forward Marcos Rashford has heaped praise on the club’s summer signing Edinson Cavani for the impact he has had at the club ever since he joined.

Cavani has been able to defy all odds by performing at his best ever since he joined United, scoring important goals as well as laying some for his teammates.

The former Napoli forward was instrumental for United when they drew against Leicester City on Saturday afternoon as he laid off an assist for Bruno Fernandes who has  become the most important player in the team.

Rashford who has also been having a great season has now shared his opinion on Cavani as he noted that the Uruguayan provides a number of important qualities needed to win games.

He came off the bench to help the Red Devils to a point against high-flying Leicester City on Saturday, setting up Bruno Fernandes’ late strike before Axel Tuanzebe’s subsequent own goal denied United the victory.

Rashford, who has registered 12 goal contributions in 14 league matches this season, has given a glowing assessment of the experienced Uruguayan’s first campaign at Old Trafford, claiming that he provides a number of important qualities needed to win games.

Speaking with the club official website, Rashford noted that Cavani is a top player who has lots of qualities that gives United another dimension that’s different to what they already have in the team.

Rashford added that it’s good to play with Cavani and to see him score.
