Manchester United are one of the busiest club in the Premier League during this summer transfer window as they continue to be linked with players.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already added Jadon Sancho to his squad and Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane will be joining in the next few days.

Manchester United have also been linked with Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez who they believe will serve as a replacement for Paul Pogba if he eventually leaves.

Though talks are reportedly going on between both clubs, former United player Gary Neville believes the club must challenge for the Premier League title next season.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Neville stated that for him United this season is going to be about improvement on last season.

He stated that last season Europa League final loss to Villarreal still bugs me because he think that was a moment whereby it was a stepping stone for the players.

They get that medal around their neck, that feeling of winning together, that experience, it’s really important.

Neville noted that United did it a few times at United where we won Carabao Cups, League Cups, FA Cups that set you on your way and that was a disappointment that one.

The former England international added that he just hope United start the season well because last season in the league was more than acceptable as far as he’s concerned in terms of on the journey but this year they’ve got to get nearer.

However, Neville insisted that United need to get close to challenging for the title and that’s going to be really tough.
