Manchester United are ready to part ways permanently with their winger Jadon Sancho this summer.

This comes as recent reports revealed that the Red Devils are looking to put Sancho up for sale for £40million.

Popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Man United will sell Sancho irrespective of the decision they take with manager Erik ten Hag in a few days.

Recall that the Red Devils monitored Sancho for several years dating back to his days as a youngster at Manchester City and finally signed him in 2021 for £73million to sign him from German side Borussia Dortmund.

While the England winger was electric during his first spell at Dortmund, he struggled to replicate the same form over the last three years.

After his fall out with Ten Hag, Sancho spent the second half of last season on loan at Dortmund.

Again, he impressed in the first leg of Dortmund’s Champions League semi-final win over Paris Saint-German but struggled with goals, scoring just three times in 21 appearances.

Amid Man Utd’s willingness to sell Sancho, Dortmund wants another loan deal for the winger.

It is, however, unlikely that the Red Devils would agree to another loan transfer for Sancho as they want him off their books permanently.
