As the January transfer window draws closer, every football in Europe are being linked with players they could sign or sell.

The latest is from Manchester United who have been linked with moves to sign Christian Eriksen from the Italian club, Inter Milan.

This comes as the 28-year-old has been struggling in Seria A, under Antonio Conte’s led Inter Milan squad who are also interested in selling him.

At some point, Eriksen was linked with moves back to his former club, Tottenham Hotspurs.

However, a report via Football Insider has revealed that Tottenham are no longer interested in re-signing him.

The reports added that coach Jose Mourinho has ruled out the possibility of bringing Eriksen back to north London amid strong competition for places in his current midfield.

Could this player be a solution to Arsenal’s poor form?

This is, however, a boost for the Red Devils because they will be able to make a move for Eriksen if he is deemed surplus to requirements at the San Siro, according to Football Insider reports.

Man Utd will have to face competition from Arsenal, who have also shown interest in the midfielder and could make a move for him in January.

A look at the Red Devils squad under Ole Solksjaer shows that signing Eriksen is not necessary because they house more than enough midfielders, the Red Devils should rather focus on working on their defence.
