Italian manager takes decision on replacing Ten Hag
Inter Milan manager, Simone Inzaghi, is one of the many names that has been linked to Old Trafford to replace Erik ten Hag amid the Red Devils poor form.
However, a recent update revealed Inzaghi has ‘rejected’ the opportunity to move to Manchester United during the international break.
Despite agreeing to a new contract in the summer, Ten Hag risk being sack at Old Trafford, following another poor performance to the season.
Recall that the Red Devils suffered an embarrassing defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the EPL before another draw to Porto in the UCL.
Inzaghi, on the other hand, impressed in his time in management, leading Lazio back to the Champions League before being signed by Inter Milan.
So far, Inzaghi has led the Nerazzurri to the Serie A title, two Coppa Italias and the final of the Champions League.
A report from SportItalia had claimed senior officials from Manchester United had approached Inzaghi about taking charge of the dugout at Old Trafford but saw their offer turned down.
Recall that following the summer’s search for a new manager before the FA Cup final fell flat, the future of Ten Hag, however, remains uncertain.
