I signed a long term deal, I wouldn’t resign – Ten Hag
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has stated that he would remain at Old Trafford and wouldn’t resign amid the club’s poor form this season.
Ten Hag made this known while speaking with the press on Friday ahead of their the Red Devils trip to Crystal Palace.
Man United head into the game sitting in sixth place with four fixtures left. They will also hope to bounce back after they were held to a 1-1 draw against Burnley in their last outing.
The Red Devils are likely not to play in the Champions League next season and would have to fight to finish a spot that will give them a chance to play in Europa League.
Their poor form this season under Ten Hag has stirred speculations that he could exit the club this summer.
However, the Dutchman in a comment through ViaPlay NL said he believe that he would be retained as Manchester United manager next year.
Ten Hag stated that he penned a long term deal with Man Utd and he is one to give up in the face of challenges.
Meanwhile, Man Utd and Ten Hag still have a chance to end the season with a trophy in the FA Cup tournament where they will play their rivals Man City in the final.
