Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas has sent a message to Manchester United to build their team around England youngster Kobbie Mainoo.

While Mainoo has only played in 19 games for the Red Devils, he has been impressive so far, making him one of the most talented and promising players to look out for.

During a statement via BBC’s Planet Premier League show, Fabregas spoke highly of Mainoo, who he described as a player who can easily change the tide of a game with his remarkable talent.

The former Spanish midfielder has urged the Red Devils to do everything possible to protect Mainoo and also help improve his skills by giving him more game time.

Fabregas is also rooting for Man Utd to sign experienced players in the summer that would help sharpens the youngster skills.

The former Arsenal star said in part:

“He’s someone they need to protect but at the same time they need to invest time and minutes on him because he can make a real difference,” Fabregas said.

“He’s got a fantastic personality on the pitch, it feels like he’s been playing for a long time. To help him as well they need to recruit players in the summer and make him more brilliant than he already is.”
