Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag’s job is once again on the line, with recent report suggesting that the club’s hierarchy are already considering a replacement.

Recall that the Red Devils were close to parting ways with Ten Hag last season but he managed to keep his job after they defeated arch-rivals Man City in the FA Cup.

However, the Red Devils have not been impressive this season like other top EPL club.

Recently, former Man Utd manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed he is open to returning to Old Trafford.

The 51-year-old coach has been out of job since being sacked by Man United in November 2021 after a 4-1 defeat to Watford in the Premier League.

While he has been linked with clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia, Solskjaer has is yet to take up a new role since his dismissal from Man Utd in the early stages of the 2021-22 campaign.

Solskjaer in a statement during a question and answer session at Oslo Business Forum said that he would “say yes every day of the week” if Man Utd contacted him with the opportunity to return to Old Trafford for a second spell.

It is, however, unlikely that the Red Devils will consider being back Solskjaer.
