Manchester United defender, Eric Bailly in a recent statement, has revealed the significant influence Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo has had in the dressing room since he returned to Old Trafford this summer.

According to Bailly, Ronaldo has had an influence on the players eating patterns as they no longer eat dessert during meal times because of the example set by the 36-year-old.

Ronaldo is famous for his stunning physical condition, which is thanks to his strict diet and rigorous training routine.

“No, we’ve stopped eating dessert. All the players stopped because it’s good, you need to change sometimes.

“Ronaldo has been the best for a long time, why? Your body, you need to take care of it,” Bailly told Poet & Vuj.

As of the time of this report, Ronaldo is Man United’s top scorer this season with 13 goals in 19 appearances to his name.

The Portugal international is expected to return to action on Thursday night when Man Utd host Burnley in the English Premier League.
