Man Utd returned to action in the Premier League on Wednesday night when they faced Brentford.

The game saw the Red Devils pick three points against the Bees but there was a highlight during the match, which is still trending on social media.

Cristiano Ronaldo started for the Red Devils during the match, but he was substituted before the end of the game, and he was unhappy with the move.

The Portuguese striker questioned the decision of coach Ralf Rangnick to substitute him.

Man United were 2-0 ahead against Brentford when the Red Devils interim manager made the decision to replace Ronaldo with just under 20 minutes remaining.

However, shortly afterwards, TV footage showed the striker expressing his disappointment at being withdrawn before full time.

Ronaldo was seemingly shown to say to someone else, presumably Rangnick, on the bench: “Why me? Why me? Why would you take me off?”

The Portugal stat had missed the two games due to a hip injury; Rangnick hinted at that fact during his post-match media commitments.

Man United will return to action when they host West Ham United in a crucial Premier League game at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
