Recall that Man Utd went head to head against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the premier league over the weekend.

While the game ended in a 0-0 draw, Man Utd coach, Ole Gunner Solskjaer had hailed his side for what he termed an impressive performance against the Blues.

However, the Red Devils former star player, Michael Owen has disagreed with Ole on the performance of the players.

According to Owen, Man Utd was not good enough vs. Chelsea.

Owen  in his statement with Sky Sports ahead of Man United’s away clash vs. Crystal Palace in the EPL on Wednesday night, stated that the Red Devils were spot on in terms of defense, energy, application, attitude and pressing.“

He however, stressed that Man Utd were not good enough with the ball.

”Not enough quality. We did not create the chances we hoped for,” Owen added.

The former Man Utd star disclosed that it would have been different if the Red Devils had scored a goal or gotten the penalty.

At the moment Man United are seated at the second spot on the Premier League table with 12 points difference between them and league leaders Manchester City.

They will hope to win all three points vs. Crystal Palace tomorrow night in order to close the gap between them and Man City to some extent.
