Liverpool forward Xherdan Shaqiri has revealed his intentions of leaving Anfield this season and the reds are not standing in his way.

Shaqiri has not been able to see enough playing time at Liverpool ever since Diogo Jota was signed from Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer.

The former Inter Milan forward has become a part time player at Anfield and he has spoken to his agents and Liverpool about the way forward.

Shaqiri might secure his move away in the next few days as Liverpool are currently in dialogue with a number of interested parties.

According to reports, Sevilla, Lazio, Napoli and Villarreal are in a conversation with Liverpool who are looking to sell their player for somewhere between £12-£15m.

Shaqiri’s performance during Euro 2020 has given Liverpool a bragging right during negotiation and they might insist on £15m as the transfer fee.

The Switzerland international joined up with his team-mates in Austria on Wednesday but he could wave them goodbye in the next coming days.
