Liverpool are allegedly planning to sign Ozan Kabak on a permanent deal this summer.

The Turkey international joined the Reds on loan from Schalke 04 in January, and the defender has been a regular since his arrival in Anfield, playing in all competitions.

The way things are, the 21-year-old is due to move back to his parent club in June, but the current Premier League champions have the alternative of signing him on a permanent basis.

As per 90min, Jurgen Klopp’s side have been dazzled by the centre-back’s displays this year and are prepared to trigger their buy option toward the end of the campaign.

The report asserts that Liverpool paid a loan fee of £1.5m for Ozan Kabak but would have to transfer an extra £18m to Schalke to get the Turkey international on a long term basis.

Liverpool are also accepted to be keen on signing RB Leipzig’s Ibrahima Konate.
