Premier League side Liverpool will not be having Alisson, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino for most of their preseason match due to Brazil’s progression to the Copa America final.

Brazil continued their good form in the tournament to reach the final by beating Peru 1-0.

Though none of Reds’ three Brazilians started, Fabinho came off the bench to replace Fred for the final five minutes of Rio de Janeiro.

Their advancement in the tournament now means Jurgen Klopp will not do not have them in his team in time for preseason.

Liverpool begin pre-season training on July 12, but Jurgen Klopp will be without at least ten players due to their involvement at international tournaments.

The reds have players competing at the ongoing European Championship, and this means they will be given extra time together to to to rest with their families.

This means Liverpool players still competing at the tournament will be joining the squad earliest August 2 or August 9.
