Liverpool star opens up on his frustrating time at Anfield after loan departure

Premier League side Liverpool have finally loaned out their central defender, Ben Davies, who joined Sheffield United on a season-long loan spell.

Davies has been unable to work his way into the first team at Liverpool after joining the Reds amidst a defensive crisis on transfer deadline day back in February.

He has failed to make a single first-team appearance for the club in 2020/21, and that does not look like a move that’s happening this season.

Despite making an appearance for the reds during pre-season, Davies has finally being shipped to Sheffield United, and the move was confirmed by the club’s official website and on Twitter on Monday evening.

Following the move, Daves spoke to Sheffield United’s official website about the decision to initially join Liverpool.

Davies stated that joining Liverpool was a move that one could never turn down; it was really exciting.

He noted that the whole set-up at Liverpool is incredible, the club is like one wouldn’t believe until they get in there and see it for themselves.

Davies insisted that it’s been a good six months, but playing football is the most important thing to any footballer.

He added that this got him driven to come out on loan and hopefully play some games and get back enjoying that competitive side again.
