Klopp rules out Keita’s exit rumours
While Liverpool have faced a tough time this season unlike last season when they were in top form, the Reds coach, Jurgen Klopp has ruled out transfer rumours of some of his players even though some are injury-prone.
One of such player is Naby Keita who joined Liverpool from RB Leipzig in 2018.
However, since his move to Anfield, Keita has been unable to give the expected performance and he has also been out on injury.
This season, Keita has made just seven appearances for the Reds which further make rumours on his exit look believable.
Klopp in a statement has ruled out his exit rumours.
Klopp in a statement with the press said Naby trains well at the moment and like a lot of others, he looks good in training. Klopp however noted that this year the Reds need stability.
“We get from time to time definitely, but i like we pick now seven, eight, nine players to change and say, ‘Maybe we can win it like this’. The long-term future of Naby Keita, from my point of view, is here, yes,” he added.
Liverpool struggled to perform this season but we are hopeful of a better performance next season.
