Gary Neville slams Liverpool players, call them Zombies

Former Man Utd player and football pundit, Gary Neville has slammed Liverpool players over their recent defeat in the premier league.

This comes as Liverpool suffered another embarrassing defeat to Everton over the weekend in a game that ended 2-0 in favour of the Toffees.

The defeat to Everton is Liverpool seventh defeat and all is not looking well for the EPL champions and the chances of winning the title again this season is looking very slim with only one option left for them is to fight for a spot in the top four.

“It is starting to get a little bit worrying in a sense we know they [Liverpool] have got injuries,” Neville said on his Sky Sports Podcast.

According to Neville, it is a lack of change and a different idea that is making the Reds perform poorly.
He stated that the Reds need a new spark to get out of their depressing mode.

”They just look beaten, almost like zombies on the pitch. Walking around thinking the same thing,” he said.

He stressed that maybe the team needs something different from Klopp as he has been quite simply unchallengeable and could be thinking of doing something different.

‘“It is not for me to advise Liverpool or Klopp what to do but playing a box to protect your centre-backs or maybe going to three at the back. We’ve seen other teams go to that system,’ he added.
