Championship side West Bromwich Albion are reportedly eyeing a move for Liverpool forward Taiwo Awoniyi, who might be going out on loan for another season.

Taiwo Awoniyi joined Liverpool from Imperial Soccer Academy in Nigeria but has not made an appearance for the reds due to his inability to get a work permit.

The Nigeria international has spent time on loan at NEC, Mouscron and more recently, Union Berlin but will finally join the reds ahead of the new season.

However, according to Goal, West Bromwich Albion one of three clubs that have opened talks with Liverpool over the potential transfer of Taiwo Awoniyi.

The reports claimed the Championship side are keen on signing the 23-year-old Nigerian forward, who they believe will help in their push for Premier League football.

Though the Goal report added that Jurgen Klopp plans to involve Awoniyi in pre-season plans, Nigeria might be forced to go out on loan for at least another season.

Liverpool currently boasts of Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane, Divock Origi, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firminho upfront, with some midfielders also capable of attacking.
