Willian want new long-term Chelsea contract

Chelsea winger Willian is in talks over another long-term contract with the club, after Frank Lampard uncovered that the 31-year-old might remain at Stamford Bridge beyond this current season.

On Tuesday, both Pedro and Willian signed short-term extensions, which takes them to end of the season.

Willian has been vigorously connected with a move to either Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur but his present boss accepts he could remain in West London.

Lampard told correspondents: Yes we are as still in talks with the players and Willian specifically we are talking with him. I generally believe that they would remain.

During the 2019-20 season, Willian has scored five league goals and five assists for Chelsea in all competitions.

Chelsea need quality player like Willian to stay at the club to help the youngsters.

Chelsea winger Willian want to stay in London because of his children and he’s hoping to sign three years contract extension.
