Willian, in his statement, named Reece James as his favourite Blues player as he tipped him for a bright future.

The Brazil star who currently plays at Corinthians made this known during a conversation on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel.

Willian, a former Arsenal star, also applauded Callum-Hudson Odoi and Mason Mount but picked James as his favourite player.

When asked about the players currently at Chelsea he likes to watch, Willian said: “[Callum] Hudson-Odoi, Mason Mount, Reece James.”

When pressed to name a favourite, Willian replied: “Difficult. I think Reece James – I like him.

He added, “He’s a good player. I think he can be one of the best right-backs in the world in years.”
