Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech has been linked with moves to Dutch club Ajax as he seeks game time elsewhere.

While the Blues are ready to let him leave, Ziyech’s link to Ajax is said to be depending on if Antony is allowed to move to Man Utd, which is not likely to happen.

A recent report revealed Ajax head coach, Alfred Schreuder has said the club would do everything to stop Antony from joining Manchester United.

While the winger has told the clubs he wants to leave, the manager insisted it would not happen.

The Brazil winger is keen on the move to Old Trafford and had sometimes shun training.

Man Utd had also seen their bids for the player rejected multiple times but they have tabled their latest bid which is more than €90 million (£76m) while Ajax are demanding around €100m (£84.5m).

“I continue to assume that Antony will continue to play at Ajax.

“I understand what he wants but he has a contract with Ajax and I think we are a nice club, too. The finances are not up to me.

“We know a little bit about how football works, don’t we? The boy really wants to go, but then it doesn’t necessarily mean it will happen.

“We’re going to do everything we can to stop that,” Schreuder said.
