Why Tuchel could be deported from the UK

Germany international Thomas Tuchel has been without a coaching job since he was sacked at Chelsea.

Recall that the Blues under new owner Todd Boehly sacked Tuchel following their defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the first UCL match.

While Chelsea has since signed Graham Potter as his replacement, the German coach risks deportation from the UK, according to the reports.

The reports revealed Brexit is working against the German as he could be deported from the UK before Christmas.

As suggested by the reports in the English media, Tuchel arrived in the country on a post-Brexit governing body endorsement visa, which would mean he can only stay in the UK for 90 days after officially becoming unemployed.

Tuchel’s representative was asked about the situation, and if it is impacting the German’s future job prospects.

“We will act in accordance with UK rules and adapt all future plans. The final decisions have not yet been taken,” his representative told The Telegraph.

It is believed that Tuchel wants to remain in the EPL and is on the lookout for other coaching roles.
