Chelsea over the weekend faced Norwich City in the English Premier League, although the Blues won the game by game by a 7-0 scoreline, fans have, however, questioned why France International N’golo Kante was absent from the match.

Kante’s absence from the had made many speculate that the French midfielder was seriously injured.

However, Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel has cleared off all speculation concerning Kante as he revealed that the game came too early.

According to Tuchel, Kante could have been available for Chelsea if the game was on Sunday as he confirmed that the French man would be available for the Blues match vs Southampton on Tuesday in the Carabao Cup as well as in the EPL match vs Newcastle Utd next weekend.

Tuchel told Football.London, “He did the full training on Friday. After training he said he feels his muscles tight. No injury, full training.

“He went to the physios for massages and some treatment, and he actually wanted to wait until Saturday in the morning to make the decision and I said no. It is such an early game, the possibility that it will change is not so high, take your time.”
