Why Guardiola wants to sign Kane and Grealish
Man City coach, Pep Guardiola has reportedly being linked with moves to bring over Harry Kane and Jack Grealish to Etihad stadium next season.
Kane despite winning the Premier League golden boot has told Tottenham Hotspur he wants to leave this summer over their failure to win a trophy and Man City are hoping to cash in on this.
Grealish on the other hand is committed to a long term deal with Aston Villa but has continuously been linked with moves away from the club in a deal that could worth close to £100 million.
With the young player of the year, Phil Foden already signed to Man City, ESPN reports that Guardiola wants to unite the attacker with his two compatriots Grealish and Kane to form an all-English front three at Man City.
A report also hinted that with Villa confirmed to have beaten Arsenal to the signature of Norwich City playmaker Emiliano Buendia, Guardiola is confident about Man City’s chances of striking a deal for Grealish.
It is however uncertain if City would be willing to spend so much on bringing in Kane and Grealish as Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus are still on their payroll.
